Abstract

Dowsing is a term  used in the traditional way of searching ground water by various methods. In experiments on dowsing  the metal wire crosses each other where the dowsers remarks. The primary assumption was that changes in magnetic field cause wire rods to cross. Although a great efforts are made to sure the effect of magnetic or electric field, the wires did not experience it at longer distance.

The dowsing power does not stay in the object used. There are varieties of tools these  have employed to dowse, such as L-shaped iron rods, Y stick, coconuts, etc. For someone, dowsing does a useful problem solving tool. The most dowsers do not care how it works. The study of dowsing with experimental work shows, the working of dowsing tools is based on scientific phenomenon.

There are natural indicators of ground water, such as Neem , Tamarind trees. The unusual growth is related to Growth Index Ratio (GIR), if GIR > 1, then the only possibility of ground water stream.

The increase in gravitational force due to the presence of ground water or surface water violets Newton’s law of gravitation.
